Chance "Maux" Moncivaez is an AR Slayer for Ghost Gaming.

Biography

Beginnings

Maux has been a life long video game player and began playing Call of Duty after receiving World at War for Christmas when he was 10. His skill at Modern Warfare 2 convinced him to start trying to play at the few local tournaments available when he was 12. Maux continued trying to compete online through the next several titles. At 16 he made the decision to stop playing high school football which monopolized most of his time to focus on competitive Call of Duty.

Advanced Warfare

Maux made his first major competitive appearance at UMG Dallas 2015 playing with Evade Nation and placing T28 in Open Brackets. Maux repeated a T28 performance later that year at UMG Washington D.C. 2015 playing under Repent Gaming. At 17 Maux would be unable to compete again until after his April 2016 birthday.

Black Ops 3

In May 2016 Maux was signed to the Cloud9 Eclipse team to play alongside Dedo, SiLLY and Swarley. His only LAN opportunity with this squad would be MLG Anaheim Open 2016 where they would end up with a T16 finish. A roster shake up in July with the Cloud9 sister team saw the dissolution of the C9 Eclipse team. Maux then joined with Parasite, MiRx and Llama to form a team for MLG Orlando Open 2016. This squad will be competing under the Kingsmen organization.

Trivia

  • His first local competition was at a pizza place outside of Louisiana State University. Twelve year old Maux finished 2nd against LSU students.
  • Maux's football nickname was "Vice". He decided not to use that as his tag to keep football and gaming separate. He still goes by Vice offline.
  • Maux played football for eleven years, the majority that time at the Center position.
  • Black Ops 2 is Maux's favorite title to date.
  • Maux was accepted to George Mason University in Fairfax, VA for the Fall 2016 semester but decided to take a year to further pursue competitive Call of Duty.
